Our equipping classes are a pivotal place where we partner with you to see all of those come to pass in your life.

QUARTER ONE
Starting September 10
Square One
An Introduction to our Church Family
Sept. 10 - Oct. 15 (6 weeks)
Taught by Candie Farquhar, PK Wilson, & Shannon Selvidge
No Pre-Req
Square One serves as the beginning point for a discipleship journey with Jesus. This is the introductory class that covers a brief history of the Foursquare church family, our congregation's history, and a brief introduction to basic Christianity. If you are a new believer, this will be a helpful class. If you are new to the Foursquare family, this will provide a good beginning. If you are seeking to become a Member of Sterling Foursquare, this class will provide that connection.
Square One Online

Square One serves as the beginning point for a discipleship journey with Jesus. This is the introductory class will be offered online over Zoom and covers a brief history of the Foursquare church family, our congregation's history, and a brief introduction to basic Christianity. If you are a new believer, this will be a helpful class. If you are new to the Foursquare family, this will provide a good beginning. If you are seeking to become a Member of Sterling Foursquare, this class will provide that connection.
Square Three
Exploring your S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry
Sept. 10 - Oct. 15 (6 weeks)

Pre-Req: Square Two
Square Three will explore Spiritual Giftedness. God has provided everyone with a S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry: Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Aptitudes, Personality, and Experiences that influence our use of Spiritual Gifts in service.
Hearing From God
Learn How To Hear From God for Yourself and Deliver the Message to Others
Sept. 10 - Oct. 15 (6 weeks)
Taught by Suzanne Murray, Lee & Rose Roth
No Pre-Req
One of the most important foundations you can build on is how to hear God’s voice. This class will give you practical tools to grow in recognizing and interpreting the many ways God speaks. God is a loving Father who wants to speak to everyone (John 10:27).

Square Two
The Tools and Disciplines for Spiritual Growth
Nov. 5 - Dec. 10 (6 weeks)
Taught by Colton Harms & Janae Kerr
Pre-Req: Square One
Square Two provides specific tools for growing Christians. The class will explore the disciplines of Worship, Prayer, Fasting, Life Long Learning, Bible Reading and Memorization, Journaling, and Money Disciplines.
Square Four
Personalized Discipleship and Group Coaching for your Ministry Calling
Nov. 5 - Dec. 10 (6 weeks)
Taught by Thom Gosser & Suzanne Murray
Pre-Req: Square Three
Square four is the last square class in our series. This class is designed as a conversational exploration and application of the gifts we possess and the passion that God has placed on our hearts. Participants will go deeper into the Five Fold Gifts (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, and Teacher) and also explore experiences from our past related to these gifts.
Turning Endurance & Perseverance
Into Resilience
A practical discussion on spiritual resilience
Nov. 5 - Dec. 10 (6 weeks)

This class is a deeper dive on a sermon series that Pastor Ben Hackbarth introduced on resilience. If you're looking to learn practical ways to become more resilient in faith, prayer, rest, community, and love in the future then this could be a good class for you.
Younique One
Discover Your Unique Calling; Become The Person God Created You to Be
Nov. 5th - Dec. 10th (6 weeks)
Taught by Margaret Winter
Pre-Req: Square Three
The class will help participants gain clarity about themselves. Students will engage in a process of reflection on life experiences and group discussion that will identify their life purpose. This experience is distilled into two powerful words that capture Passion, Values, and Life Call.

Younique 2 uses your two words from Younique 1 along with a strengths test and dynamics test to dig deeper into who you are created to be. You will discover your core values and write a life statement that includes goal setting. This class is a great tool to help you get a full vision for your life.
