Prayer
At Sterling Foursquare Church, we believe in the power of prayer and the impactful change it can have on a person's life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our staff and trusted prayer team pray weekly for all of the prayer requests we receive.
We offer prayer during all three of our services on Sunday morning, at our Prayer Station in the back of the sanctuary, where you can receive prayer at any time during any of the services. We also have Prayer & Care cards in the seat back pockets of the chairs in the sanctuary that can be filled out and dropped off at the Prayer Station or placed in any of our mounted drop boxes.
Receive prayer anytime online through our Prayer & Care form on our website, which you can fill out here.

Healing to Freedom FAQs
How Can a Freedom Session Help Me?
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, loss of purpose, or perhaps you’ve experienced a tragic loss, our Healing to Freedom Ministry can help. We provide a safe, gentle place which allows for a time of interacting with God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit (the Godhead). Through interactive prayer, you will experience avenues of inner healing that leads to wholeness and understanding of God’s purpose for your life.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11
What Can I Expect?
A session lasts about 90 minutes and is typically conducted by two members who have been trained to personally minister to you. It’s a time for you to connect with the Godhead in ways that personally matter to you.
Is a Healing to Freedom Session a Type of Counseling?
A Freedom Session is not counseling or giving advice. It is about equipping and empowering the guest to hear from God themselves. Through prayer and personal revelation, the guest will be able to identify any wounds they have carried or lies they have believed about themselves, God, or others, sometimes for many years. The guest’s primary interaction is not with the team member, but with God Himself.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” -John 10:27
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” -John 10:27
How Should I Prepare?
No preparation is needed. Come knowing you can trust God with all your heart.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” -Proverbs 3:4-5
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” -Proverbs 3:4-5
